I think in CA where the cost is higher because of duties and all that perhaps.. but in the USA the cost to get one isn't very high. Shipping is reasonable so total cost is.

The shank size does not change the cut size... if the cut size changes.. mod the size or setting on the jig accordingly.

One thing I do is take a practice run on some cardboard or masonite...

You can- but it's an expensive bit. Like $100 for the bit. Anything bigger than 1.5" roundover better to use something else IMO, even free hand it or use a router template jig.

I'd love to see the data on the areas with sprinklers vs without and see the difference in fire's and deaths from fires. I bet it's nearly the same.

Search youtube for wood stain you'll get a lot of ideas. If the wood isn't sealed it's an option and it rubs out, blends, fades or whatever to get even coverage look and proper tint.

But you would need a lot of them on a 13 cube box, with a 15hz-30hz tune right? I mean port volume to prevent chuffing gets pretty huge..
