I don't understand the comment that magnetic metals would cause distortion. There's always some electro magnetic fields in electronics and lots of magnetic metals and I have not heard of any issues...

I did test the 375. My main gripe on the 375 was it could not upconvert component video, optical audio to HDMI. Not shocking given it's price. Not sure if the 475 does...
