These tv's can only output stereo unless you are using an internal app or tuner. Best to use an AVR as your source switch, then you can get all the audio codecs.

Maybe you're in Hotel mode. In the service manual it says to unplug the tv from the wall outlet to exit that mode. Worth a try.
