Usually because a smaller enclosure can be used. The sealed roll off can be easier to integrate. Never fear port compression or chuffing. That sort of thing.

If you measured and found that a 60hz XO worked better, then being ported would be of use. Sealed often integrates easier IME, but there are always exceptions.

Looking good. Will they be ported? If so, make sure your stuffing isn't blocking the ports or even restricting the air flow. If sealed they look great.
