Ya, I wouldn't pay that for 2008 versions..... maybe 1K all in...... Then at that price, its possible to do the upgraded xover and drivers to bring them up to current specs.

I found the 212s a bit much at high volumes in my room. The 215's on the other hand don't have that at all at any level. That's the biggest thing I noticed right away when I got them.
