They will probably scramble the local channels also. That's what Charter did. The locals used to be free in HD with clear qam cable connected to back of TV. But now you have to have a digital box.

It would be nice to see this thread updated, as there is still a need for indoor antennas. And those aforementioned flat panel antennas are now being used, such as Mohu Leaf and Winegard Flatwave....

Like I said, someone locally would have the best advice. But you may luck out with a Mohu style antenna, but they can be somewhat gimmicky and overpriced. But they seem to work well for some folks...
