Thomas, the bolded part is what worries me. Especially when it comes to "design". IMHO, there is no way a designer can take into account the room (any room, many rooms) characteristics in the design...

Well, actually room modes are there even if there are no speakers in the room, eh? ;) Room modes depend on room dimensions not speakers. How a speaker interacts with room modes is a whole new story....
