If your doing a 106" screen I'd go with the X35 myself. Pull down the high power for 3D and you'll have a great set up if I read all that right. :)

Yeah pretty sure it's the Sony, according to projectorreviews.com it's almost 300 lumens brighter than the Epson when calibrated. I've got my RS46 up for sale.
