Easy way is the sub crawl, more accurate is to measure your response (see the REW link in my sig).

Oh yeah, I'm more than familiar with the benefits of multiple subs (check my sig ;) ), I was just saying in that room with dual subs, I would definitely go sealed for the extra extension.

Since the sound waves produce by a subwoofer are at least 3.5' long (at 80hz, even longer below that), I would be very confident in saying that a millimeter or so of acoustically transparent speaker...
