Look like WBTV has made an adjustment and Grit TV is now full screen. Similar to WLOS. But still not the same as before, but better than the recent change.

I believe the original owner of WAGI passed away and it was sold. The new owners decided it was more lucrative to be a Charlotte station rather than a local Gaffney or Greenville-Spartanburg station....

WBTV-3, WCNC-36, WJZY-46, and WMYT-55 all broadcast from tall towers in Dallas. Only WBTV has a top mounted stick antenna which is more omnidirectional. The others are side mounted panels which may...

That TV Fool report indicates that WCNC should be your strongest signal from Dallas. Unless you are in a null of some sort. And you should also get WIS and WOLO from Columbia. So you may want to...

They have upgraded the CS4 to CS4V with the VHF dipole. So he should be able to get WTVI. And there is metal inside the plastic circles. It is a good compact antenna. But a bit pricey.

I think the Clearstream 4V is a bit more omnidirectional, especially if you remove the reflector screen. It should work for the Charlotte and Dallas towers.

Juice sounds like a good performer, especially in terms of overload resistance. And I guess the noise figure is about the same as the Winegard LNA200, which is supposedly a bit overstated. Although...

WCNC has a few nulls in there signal, whereas WBTV is more omnidirectional. The Freevision from Home Depot is a good antenna, but he may be better off with an HBU33, and there are good clearance...

I would suggest the Channel Master 3418 distribution amp. Or the PCT version. Electroline may be harder to find and more expensive, and the Channel Master usually gets good reviews.

You may need a rotor if you want to receive Baltimore. And possibly a chance at DC. I would consider an Antennacraft HBU55 or Winegard 7698 for both UHF and High VHF, and possibly a Winegard LNA200...

The Antennacraft antennas are on clearance sale at various Radioshack stores that are closing down. Very good prices. Including HBU33, HBU55, and C490. The C490 would be similar to the CM-3020.

I agree Grit was much better before the change. But WLOS did make an adjustment so it fills the full screen again on 13.3. Perhaps WBTV should do the same for 3.3.
