116" is in the middle of the range at 11 feet. You can get up to a 131" screen with full zoom. That's still not 144" though.

That's good to know, thanks. The only 'budget' screen I have seen so far had hotspotting on lighter scenes. While it's something I could probably live with, it would be nice to avoid.

Go someplace that has an HT demo room and spend some time in front of a 100+" screen and then ask yourself that question. The answer for me was dead obvious. Projector and big image.

Thanks for the reply. For all that work, I might as well buy a proper mount. Just thought setting it upside down on a shelf might be a quick simple solution.
