Thank you CitiBear, that's the kind of info I'm looking for. Sorry about the confusion with HD as opposed to digital. Yes-he needs a digital tuner to interface to the TV. Price is a concern too.

At times, the video goes out on the Insignia. For all channels. This lasts for 10 minutes or so then comes back. Turning the unit off and on again does not fix it.
Anyone else having this problem?
