Yep, that pretty much sums it up. The only thing to add is that each of the 1" layers making up the 2" thick panels also had different density.

Yes they look very similar, however I believe the BAD panels have a perforated board on the front, whereas the Q-Perf uses perforated 1" fiberglass.
