No... If someone was to lean on them it would go as far as it could and then tear. My side panels vary from 3/4" to 3" in depth. I could have used pegboard attached to the frames, and then cover them...

We did the panel wall behind the screen to help with the back waves... If you drywall over it you will not be helping absorb the back waves. Our walls are all double wall construction to help...

I would think the best way would be to...either build a frame around it, or use 1/2 plywood on the back side of the fiberglass board, and staple the fabric to the plywood. I would not trust the glue...

We built out the wall with 2x4s giving us 2' x 4'...

We built out the wall with 2x4s giving us 2' x 4' cavities, and then stuffed the the Roxul in the cavities. Once that was done we stretched the Duvetyne over the whole wall and stapled it to the 2x4s.

I built my front 3 channels for about $1500 (used parts)... All that was needed was some plywood for the bass bins, glue, and screws. It was very easy to build, and we made all 3 in an afternoon....

My wife, and I are both 007 fans... So she bought me the 50th Anniversary collection when it came out on Bluray. She likes the ones with Robert Moore (and the last 3), where as I like them all.

Are you covering the back of the frames with material too? We use cheap Muslim fabric for the rear of ours and then GOM for the fronts... You want to stop the fiberglass fibers from being inhaled.
