UHD discs can't be played on any of the existing players. UHD movies also will require HDMI 2.0 with HDCP 2.2. None of these Sony players support that either.

Not necessary. The 4K TVs will have its own upscale capability built-in. The upscaler in these players are not necessary better than the ones in the TV. In other words, don't waste your money.
