Unless you purchased the AVR in Canada, the USA unit has a 3 year warranty and if you check with your credit card issuer they may add a free extra year as well. Regardless, I would still call Denon...

The AVR comes with a 3 year warranty and your credit card most likely will add the 4th year for free. Consider instead a Harmony remote. Your wife/girlfriend will thank you for it. :)

If you have confirmed the issue is not with the speaker, try resetting the microprocessor (p. 64 Owner's manual) which will erase Audyssey settings and return all settings to mfr defaults.
