I hate problems like this. Try giles with diffrent audio type (DD, TrueHD, DTS & DTS-MA) and see if they ALL do it. Also check AVC vs VC1 (if you have any).

Does the info button on the JVC show it receiving 24fps? I also have a JVC projector, I'm running an i5 NUC with openelec through a Denon AVR and have never seen this.

Unless the hardware is IDENTICAL sharing the actual settings even if it's possible it likely won't work. You can share libraries through DLNA though.
