I would highly recomend getting a new panel....

I would highly recomend getting a new panel. Those stab lok panels are known for having problems. I would think it would be about a grand to have it replaced. I recomend squareD or Siemens products....

What brand is the breaker? I think the siemens afci's have an led diagnostic code that might help you out. If you have another afci in the panel you could swap them to see if it does the same thing.
