I'm using a small 128GB Samsung USB FIt drive in my X800 without any issues. It also works with a USB hub. But when you use a hub, you can't use a drive for BD Live storage.

I had the same issue but my speaker bar has HDCP 2.2. But it only has HDMI 2.0. And you need HDMI 2.0a for HDR. So I need to send the video from the X800 directly to my TV.

No idea. Only that the bitrates you listed show that it's getting the 1080P encode for the x800 and the uhd encode for your other device. I don't have any issue with my X800 getting the UHD/HDR...
