I think I would follow your suggestion. HST, as he has the 4520, he might as well give it a try. Nothing to lose. If it works OK for him (and there's no reason why it shouldn’t so long as he gets it...

Thanks Jerry. I have spent this afternoon considering using the 88A tool to reset the unit back to factory. The only thing that has put me off is that if I do that, and it doesn't fix the problem, I...

No - they are just surround speakers like any others. Send anything they can't handle to the subs. That means some will need to be crossed at 120Hz, others at 80Hz, others maybe at 60Hz. Like Ralph I...

You might also like RockNRolla (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1032755/reference) if you like Guy Ritchie. It's a better movie than Revolver IMO and also has a great sound track.

Steve has answered the main points.

You will need a load of RCA interconnects (short if your 88A is sitting on or near your other gear). Don't buy ridiculously fat and expensive RCA cables...

Good point. With Pro you have to generate a new key every 30 days - if their server goes, the Pro Kit becomes junk. Not really worth worrying about IMO. On the scale of things to worry about, it...
