Not specifically, but in general the quality of video upscaling/processing AVR's (except perhaps for the flagship models) tend to lag behind the quality of BD players and displays. YMMV

You don't need the .dll file. You need to install the ArgyllCMS driver for the i1Pro via your Windows device-manager. The driver file (and .inf) should have been copied into you HCFR directory tree...

Right ... IIRC there are only two choices in 3D mode: 3D-Cinema and 3D-Dynamic. Both probably default to "normal" lamp brightness.
