Not with Blu-Ray it isn't. The subs on Blu-Ray are PGS format which is a series of bitmap images.

You can move them out of the letterbox area using BDSup2Sub during the ripping process.

I haven't tried that. Could I also use the Meter Correction to adjust for 3D glasses? The case I'm referring to was 3D measured through the glasses and off the screen, so very dim.

I've had that happen where the gamma is way off at the low end, I presume due to limitations of the meter at low light. In my case I was able to correct the problem by manually editing the greyscale...

No, he's saying he wants the PJ to switch lens memories based on the content, like the Panny does.

I don't think the JVCs have any auto-detection like this. You have to manually switch lens...
