Yea, I am going to scoop some of that as well as some more paper. I was going with 320 on the orbital to get a smooth surface, recoating with another layer of poly, then starting with 600 after that....

Noted! I used rubbing compound and then hit it with Meguair's (SP) detail wax, so it still has some grit to it, but not as much as rubbing compound. A finish wax won't have that grit, so I need to go...

I sanded 400 in between layers on my test peice and it did pretty good. Doing it over, I would have tossed 2 coats, sanded 220 to flatten out, then the remaining 4, and started with 400. Or just 400...
