I'm pretty sure I3 or higher is needed for 3d unless you include a dedicated gpu with 3d support.
I would highly recommend having at least 4gb of ram as 2 will result in heavy page file use...

On a side note don't bother upgrading to PowerDVD_14.0.4412.58 if you rely on analog audio for whatever reason as all you will get is static when not bitstreaming.

Yes it's an output. It is highly unlikely to find a graphics card that includes any inputs. If they did it would be a key selling point like the old ati and 3dfx gpus with tv tuners built in.
