I'm thinking more online reviews rather than printed. But yeah, that's partially what I meant. Many products aren't reviewed, and the ones that are aren't always reviewed thoroughly. In my limited...

If I lay down on the bottom surface any random piece of foamy material, without affixing it, would that be helpful or can it also be detrimental?

If it's so easy and cheap to do, why do they...

So what's the effect of no lining on the floor, back, and front? Any point in me placing some foamy material at least on...

I don't know what to expect, so my suspicion isn't because of how it sounds. It's because of the sub's internals: a driver terminal connection that was too easy to slide back on, a bad solder joint I...

What about padding on the front wall, mostly taken by the speaker, and the back wall, at the bottom of which is the port?

The floor is the less critical part?

Less material and easier to do,...

I don't intend to build anything, just a few random things I wonder about:

So it just slid back on with barely any resistance? I couldn't even remove the red speaker wire (which is on a wider terminal), so it made me wonder.

Does your power indicator LED remain lit also...

Question How to test a sub, including sound quality?

I have a new sub. First one for me. For a few reasons I'm suspicious of it, even though it produces sound.

Multiple reviews say that the Denon AVR-X1100W doesn't retain settings on power loss.

Still no reply.

The sales contact address actually did respond quickly, saying the one responsible for technical support was away and will reply as soon as possible. Perhaps it's a long vacation.

By now I don't expect to hear...
