Tom Norton's pre calibrtion result on the 55" was very different...

Calibration settings can vary signifcantly from set to set - there are only genral conclusions that can be drawn from a single sample.

To prove my point I am offering to calibrate two 60" or 65"...

I don't watch tv in the dark - my sets always have a small amount of back lighting when all lights are down (never completely off) . I do not consider 60"-65" adequate size for serious home theater...
