It'd be nice if that worked, but I suspect you'd have as much luck fixing the problem just talking into an empty coffee can. I seriously doubt Panasonic will tell you anything beyond the regular...

I see IR when I launch the PS3 Amazon Video app. It's up for just a few seconds and it fades pretty quickly. My old Samsung plasma did the same thing. I don't really consider short term IR like that...

Pixel orbiter shifts the image around slightly, so rather than prevent IR, in most cases it really just softens the edges of the IR.

I think I could tell the difference between the VT60 & ZT60 side by side in a bright room, especially right after powering them on. ;)

I was just at my dad's. He has a 65" VT50. He watches nothing...

It's not a $5,000 TV. While I agree that the fan noise is a real engineering failure. That should have been discovered during R&D. However, I don't see the vertical banding as an issue since I...

Pardon me if I'm not on board with the whole 4k thing, but I'd be happy just to see a good 1080p stream. As it is, it's available on what, satellite TV and a small selection of Netflix titles?
