Have you reset the microprocessor as Roger suggested? As other Denon and Marantz model owners have loaded the Auro 3D upgrade with no similar issue, it seems unique to your unit.

Doing so has proven to work on some occasions when a single reset did not work. Having to reset an AVR is no different than having to reboot a PC from time to time to clear up minor issues. :)

You can use the Source Level setting (p. 122 Owner's manual) to raise the Networking source by +12db. Also note the 1604 has a 3 year warranty so you may also want to consider warranty repair.

Trying doing a soft reset (unplug 10 minutes) and if no joy, reset the microprocessor 4-5 times. If yet still no joy, call Denon on Monday to report the issue and then call me for a RMA.

Keep in mind, that the Bluetooth feature is for streaming audio "to" the 7702 only. To use Bluetooth headphones, you would need to purchase a 3rd party Bluetooth transmitter to connect to the 7702.

When doing a soft reset, it's best to leave power disconnected for 10 minutes. If still no joy, a hard reset is the next step.

Try unplugging the unit for 10 minutes and then plug back in and do at least 4-5 microprocessor resets in a row. If still no joy, either repair/replace, although only a 2 year warranty.

Try powering off the AVR and unplug for 10 minutes. Do at least 4-5 resets in a row and if still no joy ... take it back. :(
