Not a huge selection for US-made products, but I try when I can. McIntosh and ATI for amps, Seaton Sound for sub. I've had great reliability for my US-made gear :)

Yeah, "cheap" is a relative term. B&W has high-end in-ceiling speakers, but the expensive ones all have (fixed) angled midranges which don't seem to lend themselves to directly-overhead placement....

The 5700 was nice, but the 5800 is even better and has more input options to keep it usable in 2016. 62lbs of Made In Japan goodness... Gotta resist the urge to replace, or sell.
