My local PBS station - KQED in San Francisco ...

My local PBS station - KQED in San Francisco still uses postage stamp broadcasting on both channels: 54 and 9 - for a total of 7 programs/subchannels.
Is there any hope ? :rolleyes:

The problem is the well equipped stations do this as well. Check KCSM from Sutro tower and compare
60-1 (1080i)
60-2 (480i postage stamp)
60-3 (480i nice 16:9)

Wondering what is the proper term for this practice employed by many broadcasters: 16:9 image gets letterboxed into 4:3 and this gets pillarboxed into 16:9. The results is a horrible picture quality...

I have disks with 48kHz core and 96kHz HD and the info shows 48kHz,

Does anyone know what these ports are used for ? I knew about 80(HTTP) and 50000(YNCA). Port 49154 has a web server but it does not accept any of the commands the port 80 web server does.
