Thanks for the replies! This is the cheapo meter I bought, and it only goes as low as 30db. My room is completely DIY, and there's a few things I still need to work on, but I'm only hitting 40db....

Still. I've been in IT for 20 years, primarily working on web technologies, and this is horrible. No auto-resizing of images, etc etc. 5 seconds per picture, when the web is largely visual, is nuts....
