Mine has only ever rebooted on its own once. Every other time I've done it manually to fix a problem.

And even the slim models can only output DTS-HD:MA during 3D playback. It's why you'll see so many 3D Blu-rays with DTS even though the 2D versions have Dolby, but the PS4 fixed that problem.

Can somebody explain to me from an artist's perspective why anybody would ever raise the black levels? I just don't get it. Increase the exposure and adjust the gamma/curves if the image is too dark....

That's an issue with the show itself, not the TV. Marvel's Netflix shows have a lot of grain in them, which is very noticeable in HDR.
