WALB, the NBC affiliate in the Albany, GA DMA (#145) says that it broadcasts HD. Even though I'm only 8.1 miles away from the tower the use to broadcast digitally, I can't pick it up, so I don't know about Dolby Digital. WFXL, our local FOX is broadcasting digitally, but I have no clue as to whether or not they will start broadcasting in HD this fall as they won't return my e-mails, and I can't receive their digital signal OTA. No other station in this DMA is broadcasting digitally.
WRBL, the CBS affiliate in Columbus, GA is broadcasting HD, DD 5.1 when available.
WTVM, the ABC affiliate in Columbus, GA is broadcasting HD, no DD 5.1.
WLTZ, the NBC affiliate in Columbus, GA is broadcasting HD, no DD 5.1.
WXTX, the FOX affiliate in Columbus, GA is broadcasting SD digital, but hopes to have HD this fall when FOX goes HD.
This information came from ColumbusDTV.org, and not from me as I can't receive a signal from them either.
