So, not that much difference really. My older VPL-HW15 allows panel alignment very much like my old CRT days. I did stacks and blends with CRT. I can see this being quite simple with a PJ that has the panel alignment feature.

The price issue was that with 800hrs on the projector, on a flaky bulb it seemed steep to me. Not that it was $2000, just to clarify.

There are X70's advertised on Ebay as B stock for just over $3k, has anyone bought one? Are they reliable, and more importantly does anyone have any experience with the seller?

I'm thinking of the B Stock, but don't know if it is a worthwhile upgrade from my current VPL-HW15. Otherwise, I shoudl sell my HW15 and move to the X30.

Is the HD250 a big step up from a Sony VPL-HW15? Is it worth the switch?
