I am having difficulties after recording a tv show using MCE running Vista Home Premium and directv. When I try to burn to DVD it tells me that the show I recorded is a Unsupported file type.
Laptop is a Sony Vaio VGN-AR590e.

Not sure if this has been discussed or not, but I am having some difficulties with the Samsung HD receiver. It for no appearrant reason just locked up on me. I could not turn the power off using the power button on the receiver. I finally killed the power on my surge protector which did the job. I Need some help trying to get my sony KV-32HV600 and Samsung HD receiver model SIR-TS160 to display a 4:3 image. No matter what I seam to do on the sony tv, I can not get an image to display 4:3 it wants to display it as letter box 16:9. The only way it will display a 4:3 image is if I change the switch on the back of the Samsung receiver to 480i. If I have the switch set to 720p or 1080i it displays letterbox.
Channel 26 kyw-DT signal strength dropped last week from 90 to 70 and hasn't come back since. Anyone else experiencing problems with kyw-dt. Also, noticed channel 67 WCAU-DT is off-the-air anyone else having these issues?
I noticed the DTC-100 has some settings that can be changed for different outputs like the vhdc300 needs to be set based on the type of TV and output it is a menu option the DTC100. do you think I should change it? I currently have it set on the top one for Long Trailing? Could this be my problem?
Just an FYI, I have removed the DVD player from all testing so that is no longer an issue.
