Can anyone tell me about this media player. Is it a decent unit? Does anyone know if it will playback Mkv 3D and also back ups of my DVD/BRD via anyDVD? Thanks
I'm disappointed in the 3010. I currently have a Sony VPL-VW40 and while the picture the 3010 delivers is a good bit brighter the resolution of the VW40 is much better then the 3010. I can not see the pixels of the VW40 till I'm 2' from the screen and never see jaggies but with the 3010 I can see pixels from my seat 10'+ away in some bright areas and often see jaggies. The 3d I must say is a plus but since there is so little 3d content now I think it's going back and I...
What is this??????????????
The Epson will not figure into the equation. The source from the blu-ray player will be split, one going direct to the receiver from the player and the other HDMI going to the projector for picture only.
I am hearing that there are ways to use my current Onkyo SR606 receiver that is not 3D ready by splitting the HDMI signal. Run one to the TV (in my case a Epson Powerlite 3010) and the other to the receiver for audio. My question is will any HDMI splitter work ...something like this one: http://www.monoprice.com/products/pr...seq=1&format=2 Or this: http://www.monoprice.com/products/pr...seq=1&format=2 When it says 3D support does that mean it will do what I...
Would something like this work:http://www.monoprice.com/products/pr...seq=1&format=2 Or would I have to use something like this:http://www.monoprice.com/products/pr...seq=1&format=2 or can you point me to what you are talking about? Thanks
Can you use a HDMI splitter to do this with a player that only has one HDMI?
I don't understand, can you explain?
On lens shift ...... Out of the box my PJ shoots way up above my screen. With the projector level and pointed about 2' below the center of my screen it shoots above the screen, is that normal? I would have assumed that it would shoot straight out so if the PJ was level and close to the center of the screen it would shoot fairly close to centering on the screen. Since there is no lens shift I have to elevate the rear of the PJ 2" to get it on my screen. Is that right?
I am thinking about getting the new Epson 3010 3D PJ. I currently have a Onkyo TX-SR606 receiver. Will this pass 3D or will I need a receiver that specifically says it's for 3D? Thanks
