Stephen and Michel -- So the Ploytec did the trick?

OOps Carl is correct - i totally spaced and forgot that i had originally tried the CEntrance pre-amp in the suggested setup, but it was a no- go. The USBPre 1 was a far better solution with the ploytec - it worked immediately.

Stephen Sounds very similar to the problems I had... Be sure you are using the ploytec ASIO drivers, as i was never originally given those specific ones which led to months of delays trying to get Dirac to run. I had ended up changing...
