I dont think my reciever can handle 24/192 as it doent lock on to the signal. Im going to cut the xcard cable and make a better cable as it is a test for now. I will put up the pin though. once I make the new cable.
Well I got bored installed the 7.1 with the x tension add on.
Took a sigma Xcard vga passthrough cable which has a 9 pin mini din connection connected it to a vga extention cable cut the end off it and through trial an error found the pcm channels. connected rca connectors.
I now have 6 channel pcm going to my denon 5800 at 24/96 I think Im missing a pin for the 8 channel but it sounds much better than before
My denon 5800+ supports 8 channel pcm using 4 cables so Im waiting for the X-Meridian 7.1 X-Tension Board add on. Its suppose to have 8 channel pcm via 4 cables and I would think you can set it up to use 6 channel instead of 8...
I believe you can add a new hdd to MCE once the jumpers are set and the drive installed by going to Control Panel then Administrative tools then Computer Management then Disk Management under Storage. You should be able to chose the file system FAT/NTFS and partiton size..
A lot easier then FDISK the dam thing compared to 98
