I had that (and other) issues with the RF remote for my 22-100. I recently swapped it with a 20-100 and it works great (had to add an external drive for more storage though!).The 20-100 has the RF antenna externally on the back and the 22-100 is internal and I think that made all the difference in performance for me.

one positive thing that came out of the Lost experience for me is that I completely lost faith in network television and have broke the habit.
amc, hbo, netflix, and my e-reader are all getting my time now and it's much more satisfying than the crud on the big four...
For those who may not have heard Eiko Ishioka passed away in January.
(I didn't hear until I had heard she was left out of the academy awards "in memoriam" tribute; I stopped watching the awards this year for the first time in my life and I doubt I'll watch again.)
I was hoping Criterion was release a blu-ray of Mishima: a Life in Four Chapters, which is a great film (and was produced by Coppola) and contains some of her amazing work.
