I guess I meant to say it is open to another room. It can be sealed off by adding a curtain or building a wall. I assume building a wall will give the best results, however, also be the most expensive option.
I have 2 Empires in a room that is 18 x 15 x 9. The entrance to the room is 12 feet wide and unable to be sealed off. I would like to close the opening to be able to really increase the bass. I can use a curtain to close it off, or go all out and close the size down with drywall and add French doors. Obviously curtains are the cheapest. How much of a Difference between the 2 choices? Thanks for any input.
I am not sure if this is the place to ask but I will give it a shot. I have dual empires and I love them. Only problem is I am getting lots of vibration noise from my can lights and from ductwork above the drywall. When I play scenes from cloverfield, flight of the Phoenix, etc., I get distracted from the rattling. Any ideas to curb this without turning down volume. Thanks.
I have to place my empire beside my couch. Is it better to have it oriented so one woofer faces couch and one faces away or to have it turned 90 degrees with one woofer facing wall and one into room? This is not in a corner. I already have the only available corner with another empire in it at an angle. Thanks for any suggestions.
