SOLD - Battlestar Galactica Blu-Ray Discs, The Complete Series. I bought this to watch while recovering from total knee replacement so it has been watched once. Still in AS-New condition. This is the official US release.
With the tray all the way out you should see a belt under the left side of the tray. You need to remove and clean or remove and replace the belt. Generic belt part number is SCQ4.0
You need to order a new grip ring that goes on top of the spindle motor to grab the LD. http://parts.pioneerelectronics.com/part.asp?productNum=VEB1237 Common issue with this unit.
That is part of the long plastic rails that load the tray and clamp the disc. Don't know of a glue that can make it new. You need to find another broke one with this part good.
Without picture I doubt anyone could help. You really need to just watch the unit and see what is happening. These M-series and the other CD changers are problematic. They either work or not worth repairing.
I don't have one but go to the following link to order one http://parts.pioneerelectronics.com/part.asp?productNum=VDA1528
I can look when I get home but it should be the same cable used in the CLD-D504/604/505/605/406/606 players.
You have to feel under the front left of the tray and find the wheel and manually turn it. One direction loads the LD and the other opens the tray. There is a 50/50 chance Pioneer still has stock of boards. It is normally cheaper to buy another player than buy parts. If you can solder wires to bridge the break that would be the cheaper way to go.
First, you need to make sure you have selected component for the output format from the main menu with no disc installed to get component color for DVD's. The selection I believe is either S-Video or Component.
Same as info above. Take off top and if helping lift up on the mechanical assembly helps it play everytime then the belt needs cleaning or replacement.
