Yup, lamps for the JVCs will start flickering around this time. Mine did also around the same hour mark. You want to run it on high for around 20 hours or so, this will buy you several hundred more hours on low before it starts...
Didn't see any change in uniformity last night with the lamp in its new orientation, but no problems (reduced brightness, flickering, etc.) either. Guess I expected this result but it was worth a shot, anyway.
