How was the video?
I thought LOTR was coming to HDDVD?
I have to agree with the original post. I thought the video was okay but didn't blow away the other side of the dvd like I thought it would. I checked out both sides and the HD side didn't seem that much better to me. Just my 2 cents.
I too pre-ordered and I assume my movie is scheduled to ship ontime. I hope it isn't as bad as the post above says. On a side note, not that Superman Returns was bad but I didn't feel it was that much better then the regular dvd side....
Okay, so I pop out The Santa Clause and pop in Spiderman, which is also 1.85:1, and all is fine on the 1080 setting. Doesn't make any sense to me. Anybody know what might be the culprit? Thanks.
I actually have the A1 and I checked and it is set to 16:9. The tv is also a 16:9 set. I don't know what's going on.

I have watched Super Returns twice and not a single problem. It is somewhat crazy all this skipping and freezing stuff. I wish I knew it was a disk problem. That would make it easier. But my KK doesn't freeze or skip in the same spots...
