Anyone set one of these up with a Harmony remote; I tried doing my 40C650 last night, found no matches, and forgot how painful it can be to set a remote up from scratch.
I thought there had been a long standing issue with Moto HD (6200 series) boxes. My Pioneer 533 played nicely with a Moto SD cable box, but once we went to the HD box, we no longer received the EPG information (which used to come off KERA)
Does anyone know if TWC is transmitting additional info? Specifically can TVGOS data now be picked up again by any HD boxes?
That's the date being thrown around in at http://www.dslreports.com/forum/rema...665~start=1040
After seeing the review this morning in the NY Times about the Olive Musica http://www.nytimes.com/2005/10/27/te...ogue.html?8dpc I'm wondering if anyone has done a head to head of the Olive vs. an SB2,3 or Roku plus a hard drive, plus media software, etc... in terms of ease of use, quality of sound, total cost to setup, etc... Anyone looked at both alternatives?
Has anyone sighted a 6412 in any cable system that is a 2 wire system? In the DFW Metroplex, Comcast has soft launched it in its 1 wire territories, but not in its 2 wire systems.
I would say "not very good but watchable" you may want to post the question over on DHTG ot broadbandreports where there is a lot more Comcast Dallas traffic,
I had thought that FSN had agreements for HD only with Time Warner. Does anyone out there know if other Comcast markets in FSN regional areas (especially DFW) will also start to carry FSN HD broadcasts?
There are claims over at http://www.broadbandreports.com/foru...~start=860#end that HDNet and Bravo are coming to the Dallas system (which has never gotten channels first); however, these did not come from our usual, reliable source, but from someone else. Has anyone else heard similar claims, rumors of these channels on any other Comcast system?
I would check out http://www.broadbandreports.com/foru...1587~mode=flat kcharg (who works for Comcast) contributes there much more frequently than on AVS, he has said that VOD is being held up by a large number of non-responding boxes in the Metroplex, but that it was coming, but was not sure which cities would go 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc... Comcast's local print ads have been saying that VOD is coming for a while now, it will be interesting to see when we get it.
