Answering my own question--since it looks like the only outputs on the 975 are analog, there seems to be no way to avoid analog to digital conversion. Oh well.

What is your opinion of the PQ of the calibrated Samsung LED 750 series, and how does that compare what you've found on the Mitsubishi Laservue?

The horizontal viewing angle was very good. I still think the SXRD is a little better in this regard. The vertical angle was more unforgiving, but still acceptable considering the technology (RPTV) and how large it is.
