Why would the OTA PQ be any worse? An HD signal is digital so I would think the PQ would be the same unless the OTA signal has less resolution than the cable signal (720 versus 1080?) Obviously I'm green on OTA and HD.
I should qualify my comment on sports. We love to watch it 1-hour delayed so you skip all the commercials and by the time you are at the end of the game you are watching it live. But then you still need a live feed to record. Ugh......
