It appears the BD390 does not support embedded .ASS subtitles at this moment. Does anyone know if LG will add that support anytime soon. I have too many MKV files with .ASS subtitles to extract and convert them all. Thanks.
Interesting. When I read the spec I thought the NTFS support applied to drives connecting through the sata port as well. I guess the NTFS support is only on drives connecting through the usb port. Anyways, thanks for the clarification.
Hi, I'm trying to playback video files from a bare sata 3.5" NTFS formatted hard drive and the M34A is not recognizing the hard drive. I see the sata orange LED light flickers a couple of times when the unit powers up but the LED doesn't...

Yea, I have >100 tapes that are still on tapes for the simple reason it's a bit of a bother to convert them.
I'm wondering what people are doing to play captured video from their DV camcorder? Thanks.

Bummer about not being to move the subtitles. This is rather unfortunate for an otherwise ideal media player solution for me. There's always hope for a firmware update for improved features.
