My biggest problem with FIOS in Northern Virginia is Resume with OD. It doesn't do it at all and just starts at the beginning.Have the new Cisco box/recorder but the area has not upgraded to 1.9A Is this a common problem?
I just started SofA starting with season 4. Thru 10 episodes I cannot figure why Vic wants so fervently to kill Jax's wife. What is going on with that? It really turns me against Vic. And wasn't the old guy with cancer that put the death threat in her car? So far a great show except for vic wanting to kill her.
"When this show ends, I won't have a reason to continue watching TV. Nothing else comes close."
HBO's The Wire is probably better than BB. It's a vastly more complicated show with many more characters encompassing an entire city. It is more difficult to watch but more rewarding. The Wire depicts an entire city while BB is really only about an extended family with Gus, Saul and Mike and of course Jesse.
The Wire takes about 6 episodes to get going whlle BB started with ep 1...
"Were you by any chance watching 3D video? I'm not sure what your network setup would have to do with any of this".

I tested everything; batteries, different blurays, dvds, pulling the plugs, etc. My 2nd tv remote didn't work but the tv worked upstairs where the cablebox isn't a recorder. Possibly the non functional FIOS box affected my OPPO. CD and sacd worked on the OPPO because they just started. But you...
Problem with OPPO-95 and tv remotes not responding (temporary)
While playing a blu ray The OPPO remote stopped responding to any command. The red circle with the line thru it each time. The only thing I could get to do was STOP on the OPPO itself.
My TV remote did not respond either during the same time period. The only common source for these two inputs is the Verizon Fios provided router. I never do any streaming. About 2 hours later the tv remote started responding and...
Exactly. I have an OPPO 95 with loads of mch sacd and dvd audio discs.
Funny, I looked at the back of my old Panasonic class D receiver that the SC-37 replaced and was surprised to see it has everything I need. Even hdmi for my OPPO that I never needed before. So my plan is to wait and buy the SC-68 when it goes down in price or see if next years models have imprived the TI chip and buy the 2013 model. Thanks for the input.
