In the past I had always been of the belief that amps sound the same as long as they aren't clipping. However, a long time ago I did try a separate amp with my Magnepans and I thought...
I've always wondered if you can tell the difference between amps and if there is an audible difference between a separate amp and receiver - if levels are kept below clipping... and now I'm going to find out. ...
