The round box will be just a power connection so it is a convinience , So just remove the fan bracket and put the outlet together with the round plate and then attach the plate to the box and be Sure to turnoff the power to that circuit to be safe while doing the job. Good luck.
You can remove the fan bracket and install a round receptacle plate like in the picture below which can be painted any color, and just put in the outlet (you will have to remove the mounting ears to make the outlet fit just using the center screw to attch the outlet to the plate and then the plate to the box )and if you were controlling the fan light with a dimmer the you need to replace it with a regular 15a toggle switch and running the video cables separately.
